to our Boarding Services page. Dogs Need a current
DHPP, Bordetella (kennel cough), and a Rabies vaccination. My pet hasn't had his Bordetella
vaccination, can you administer it? Yes, we can administer the vaccination, but we
prefer that you visit your veterinarian. How do I provide the proof of vaccination that
you require? You can either bring in your pets records which
will be returned to you immediately, or you can have your veterinarian fax a
copy to us at 605-335-8070. Do you provide bedding for my pet to sleep on? Yes, every pet is provided a blanket to sleep on. Can I bring toys, bedding or treats? Yes
you can, but Happy Dog Kennels is not responsible for any damage. My dog requires medication, will you
administer it? Yes,
we administer unlimited medications for $1 a day. Will you give my dog a bath before we pick him
up? Yes,
we do bathe and brush, but do not trim.
Prices vary depending on size of dog. Yes, there is a $3 fee for 20 minutes of staff
supervised playtime. We feed Diamond dog food. We can give them Diamond dog food or
you are welcome to bring your own and we will be glad to feed it to your pet. How often do you feed our pets? We try to feed per the owners requested schedule. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially
during the holidays. Please call
at least 4 weeks in advance for a holiday reservation. Summer is a busy time so make your reservations
early. Yes, we recommend that people come and visit our
facilities before making a reservation.
Visits are welcome during hours of operation. Although we specialize in dogs, we do board
cats. A lot of pet owners have
both dogs and cats, so for their convenience we also provide cat boarding.
